Free Flu Information for Your Spanish-Speaking Patients

With flu season upon us, it’s essential that all patients be well-informed about the importance of influenza vaccination and prevention.

Communication can be enhanced with the use patient information materials. The Pennsylvania Medical Society has identified online resources to help you communicate about the flu to your Spanish-speaking patients.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a variety of Spanish-translated posters, flyers, and brochures as well as vaccination information statement forms.

Visit the CDC free resources page  and click on the “Spanish and Other Languages” tab. The materials address all target groups and use photography and language relevant to Spanish-speaking families.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has free, full-color, Spanish translated H1N1 handouts available for order.
