				Pre-1999 The “Dark Ages” – CRNPs are subject to joint oversight.
1999 Prescriptive authority bill defeated.
				May 2000 CRNPs are given prescriptive authority.
Dec. 2002 Nursing board is given sole CRNP licensing authority.
				2006 Sen.Vance urges CRNPs to expand authority.
Jan. 2007 Rendell announces “Prescription for Pennsylvania.”
				March 2007 “Prescription for PA” introduced as HB 700.
March-May 2007 Dialogue continues with governor, lawmakers.
				May 2007 Scope of practice bills introduced.
May-June 2007 Intense negotiations begin with nurse practitioners.
				June 17-18, 2007 Medical Society is physician “mission control” for scope of practice.
June 19-20, 2007 Bills moved out of committee.
				June 26, 2007 Bills voted out of House.
June 30, 2007 Senate committee makes technical amendments
				July 12-14, 2007 Amended bills pass Senate. House approves amendments.
July 20, 2007 Governor signs bills.
