PAMPAC to Interview US Senate, House Candidates

As the general election campaign begins, the board of the Pennsylvania Medical Society Political Action Committee (PAMPAC) will interview the Democratic and Republican candidates for the US Senate prior to making a candidate support decision.

Republican candidate Pat Toomey has accepted PAMPAC’s offer, while Democratic candidate Joe Sestak has not yet committed to attend.

In addition, the PAMPAC Board will meet with both of the candidates for the open US House of Representatives seat in the seventh district in Delaware County.

All meetings will be held July 10, 2010, in Valley Forge.  Information gathered from the interviews will help PAMPAC make more informed candidate choices for the Nov. 2 general election.
