PAMED Announces ICD-10 Implementation Mini-Webinar Series

The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) is partnering with the AAPC to offer a series of 15 brief ICD-10 webinars at a special discount available only to PAMED members.

The webinar series, “Guidance to ICD-10 Implementation: What You Need to Know,” will tell physicians and practice managers what ICD-10 is and what you need to do to get ready.  You’ll learn about how this transition will affect you and your practice and the magnitude of the implementation process.

Members can sign up for the 15-minute webinars and then take them at their convenience.  The webinars are accessible through online broadcasts (webinars), downloadable videos (iPod/iPhone), MP3 podcasts, and presentation slides.

The complete series of 15 webinars costs just $99 for PAMED members. Normally, the cost of the series is $149.

This series will offers a high-level understanding of ICD-10, with webinars on topics including:

Continuing education credits are available for physicians, nurses, and practice managers. By completing the whole series, participants can earn:

  • 4 CEUs through AAPC
  • 3.75 (CME) AMA PRA category 1 credit(s)™
  • 4.50 Contact Hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing
